SETTLING IN AT HOME FOR DYLAN ROBERT

"I love you, mom and dad."
Nestled in dad's lap.

Naps for Dylan and daddy.

Happy sister Sophia loves little brother, Dylan.

Addy thinks he's pretty special.

First sponge bath, he really didn't cry too much.

The binky helped the bathtime.

Trying out the carseat, "Kind of comfy".

OH BABY, DO I LOOK LIKE DAD?

VISITS TO THE V.I.P.,DYLAN

Visitors that came to see Dylan were family and friends.
Uncle Ryan visits Dylan and gets some practice for his
son that will be arriving in about 10 days.

Payton was delighted by her new cousin.

Alex and Crystal love him too.

Great Grandma Guylene, Pam's mom came to meet Dylan when he was 8 days old.

Addy's friend, Victoria came to check out Dylan.

CUTIE CANDIDS

"Grandma, are you pointing that camera at me AGAIN?!!"

Learning to focus my vision.
Looking a little "yellow" (jaundice), but smiling.

"Life is good."
"Is it bedtime yet?"
"I love when you rub my head mom."(1st sponge bath)
"Thanks for lunch mom!"

FIVE GRANDKIDS, SOON TO BE SIX

CRYSTAL AND RYAN GET READY FOR #3

Bigger IS better! Crystal is coming along in her pregnancy,
due in 10 days. She is dilated to 1 1/2. Her doctor says
she may have this baby on time instead of going over a week,
like she did on the other 2 kids.

Payton "practices" holding cousin Dylan.

Alex loves cousin Dylan, his only "boy" cousin.

Getting ready for #3 means Payton needed to give up the crib.
Here is her new big girl bed. She loves it and slept in until 9:30
the first night she slept in it.

Her bedspread is fairies theme.

NO ROOM AT THE INN

Dylan was due on Sep. 1st. He was supposed to be induced on Sep 9th
or 10th, but there was no hospital delivery rooms available. The average
number of babies born per day is 5. There were 17 babies born on the
9th and 10 on the next day. After 2 days and 6 phone calls to the hospital,
Kelly was finally admitted on Sep. 11th at 4:00pm.

THE WAITING GAME BEGINS

The grandparents arrive.

Lots of monitor watching begins.

Numerous"jaunts" through the hospitals halls.

Phone calls to friends, "She's in labor."

Kept up on current events.

We all took naps at various locations in the
hospital. After 22 hours of labor, Kelly finally
asked for pains medication through her IV.
At this point her and Chris had been awake for
33 hours, and still no baby.

AFTER 24 HOURS OF LABOR

After being in labor for a whole day, Kelly was only
dialated to 4 cm and effaced 70%. She decided an
epidural was a good idea.

TWENTY NINE PLUS HOURS LATER!!

Dylan meets dad & mom, "Hi".

Good job mom!
