GRANDMA TIME IN CALIFORNIA KEPT ME BUSY AS A BEE
I went to CA from March 20-25. It was a quick trip, but I loved every minute. I drove by myself (8 Hour trip). My only concern was the pass over Mt. Ashland and it was clear. (Trivia: The pass is the highest point on the entire length of I-5. It is 4,310 feet in elevation.) Here are 2 of the youngest grandkids. Owen will be 6 months old on the 1st of April and Dylan was 6 months old on the 12th of March.
Big smilin' boys.
Six smiling sweeties.
I kept busy while I visited. The first night we went to Addison's choir performance at her school fund raiser. Addison is on the top row, center, next to the boy with the stripe shirt.
We went to the movies. They have a brand new theater in Yuba City and the chairs rock. It's like sitting in a rocking chair and watching a movie, very comfy. I should have taken a picture of the theater. We also went bowling.
Owen didn't bowl, but had a good time watching us while he sat in his bumbo seat.
Can't leave the bowling alley without playing a few video games.
I watched Dylan get his bath in the sink, where he won't fit much longer, he's getting so big. He loves bathtime.
Sophia, Addy and I played Rock Band. I made a fool of myself, trying to use the microphone and play the drums. Let just say, Jim doesn't have to worry about me running off to join a rock band.
Kelly, Crystal and I went to the 26th Annual Quilt Show at the Yuba City fairgrounds. 350 quilts were on display.
I "supervised" homework time. I got reminded about the mathmatical terms, "mode", "median"

KIDS AND GRANDKIDS, I MISS 'EM
I am REALLY missing the kids and grandkids. I hope to go visit about the 3rd week in March. Here are some pictures I "stole" off the Burks and Smith blogs. Addy is decorating a Valentines cake.
Dylan and Owen began eating baby cereal. At first, neither baby boy thought it was very appetizing, but they are liking it better now. If I remember correctly, I think it tastes like paper mache paste.

Sophia made a haul on tickets at a place in Roseville. They have an arcade, mini cars, golf and so on. A fun family afternoon for the Burks a few weeks ago.
Moms and sons and their head apparel.

Valentine box decorated by Alex. If I squeeze my brain tight enough, I can remember the Valentine boxes that I make over the years, when I was in elementary school.
